I visited Siliguri today after almost 2 years. I must say this place has changed a lot and not less than any major metro city. Almost everything available. You name the brand and you get it out here.
Siliguri is a base for the people travelling to the northern hill station like Darjeeling. City is strategically located at the international boarders like Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh. It's a hub for business too because people staying on the hill station are purely dependent on all the daily necessity supply from this place.
As it's a base of hill stations many luxurious hotels has come up in the city. Nearest airport is Bagdogra airport which is almost 15 kms from the main city. New Jalpaiguri the the station to come to Siliguri by train.
Because of tourist attraction this place is now over crowded but worth visiting.

Today I am going to review on siliguri city. It is the small city which is situated in west bengal. The city is surrounded by hills and forest.
1 month earlier, I was in siliguri. There was a lovely people and their behaviour was too good and friendly. When I was reached NJP( NEW JALPAIGURI STATION) I saw the station was too clear and the service was too good.
Next day I went to city center which is situated in matigara which is 6 km away from njp station. We enjoyed a lot in matigara city center.
Next day we went to sukanto, rongtong, dudhiya the hill side area of siliguri.there was a beautiful forest in rongtong. It lovely to see that nature beauty.
We stayed in hotel vinayak sevoke road. It was a lovely hotel I had ever seen. Their service, food, rooms, everything were too good. After a long time I was in siliguri and I love to hangout with this place. Because it is the heaven of the bengal.
Viewers, if you are planning to goes in siliguri then my opinion is please go and see what fan awaiting for you. It's lovely. It will be happy you.

I am born and brought in siliguri. Siliguri is the best tourist place I thing because here one heritage train that is Toy train and one more heritage place Darjeeling only 85km distance from siliguri main town.siliguri also the gate of north east region of the india.Three nearest country from siliguri are bangladesh, bhutan and also nepal.sikkim capital gangtok only 100km distance from siliguri.local sightseeing are Bengal safari, sevoke coronation bridge, ISKCON temple, saving kingdom, salugara monastery, suryasen park lots of things.in siliguri and also siliguri side area more than 1000 hotels available.Safety and security in siliguri excellent.Three major transport service available in siliguri are Bagdogra airport, New Jalpaiguri jn. railway station and NBSTC Bus service. so visit atleast one time in siliguri in life.

1 month earlier, I was in siliguri. There was a lovely people and their behaviour was too good and friendly. When I was reached NJP( NEW JALPAIGURI STATION) I saw the station was too clear and the service was too good.
Next day I went to city center which is situated in matigara which is 6 km away from njp station. We enjoyed a lot in matigara city center.

We stayed in hotel vinayak sevoke road. It was a lovely hotel I had ever seen. Their service, food, rooms, everything were too good. After a long time I was in siliguri and I love to hangout with this place. Because it is the heaven of the bengal.
