Okanagan Valley has it all! My husband wanted to visit this valley. I did not. So glad we did!
We traveled 5600 miles in 34 days and spent 2 weeks of our travel here in Okanagan Valley.
I can't remember a place in all the world that I've liked any better. Vineyards and orchards abound! This is Cherry season and definitely the best cherries I've even tasted. You can pick them yourself for $1.00 a pound or just buy them at any of several outdoor markets in the Valley.
People are wonderful, prices are fair and the scenery unbeatable. I cannot wait to returen. Go you'll never regret seeing all of the beauty in Okanagan Valley. Lakes, mountains, orchards, vineyares and good people. A perfect place for a vacation.

The vineyards in the fall, against the blue lakes is amazing, surrounded by mountais.Excellent wine & great wild salmon. Peachland, Summerland-names say it all. Tons of B&B, spa's, skiing in the winter and boating in the summer.

Esta é uma região muito bonita da British Columbia. Além das vistas, estradas cênicas e clima agradável, o ponto central são os passeios pelas vinículas, são várias, muito bem cuidadas, e pesar de eunão entender de vinhos, parece que são muito elogiados pela sua qualidade. É fácil conseguir informações turísticas e folders em Kelowna com várias opções de vinículas e passeios. Recomendo.

Das Okanagan Valley hat uns sehr an Italien erinnert - von der Landschaft her fühlt man sich einfach wie in Italien. Es gibt unzählige Obstplantagen, da dieses Gebiet das sonnenreichste in Kanada ist. An den Straßen gibt es dann zur Obstreife überall Obststände, an denen man alles gleich vom Baum weg kaufen kann. Haben frische Kirschen und Nektarinen probiert - so saftig und süß kann man sie wohl nicht im Supermarkt kaufen. Ein Abstecker ins Okanagan Valley lohnt sich!
