Transfer funds to the wrong account and impossible to find someone to fix the issue .

I strongly recommend you do not deposit any money with them. The branch does not have a phone number and their third party customer service simply forwards your request to the branch, WHICH NEVER RETURNS A CALL. I have been trying to get in touch with someone who can take care of an issue involving an account for 3 months. After many calls to their customer service that results in a promise that someone from the branch will call back, I have not received one call back. I am filing a formal grievance with the Federal Reserve. Please don't lock up your money with them. It seems Brazil's corruption issues have a far reach.

This bank is great if you are sending small remittances to a Brazilian with a Banco do Brasil savings account.
Receiving from a Brazilian is possible but kind of problematic at first:
They provide a document explaining what a Brazilian account holder at BBSA has to do in order to send you money, but don't mention that the BBSA account holder has to visit their branch to authorize access to that feature of BBSA online banking.
Well, I saw the 2 reviews and I have to disagree. Since day one, I had a great customer service. Never had absolutely any problem. Maybe I can't sometimes go online but this is being my internet/ PC problem.
